Play Ball! A Sports Romance Pop-Up is today! Come explore books and more at 4th & 4th (402 E 4th St) from 2-4! It’s pretty hot out already, so we’ll be inside with the door shut and the mini-split on, but you’ll see the signs! We can't wait to share our favorite inclusive sports romances with you!
Logistics
All the things worth knowing
We’ll have lots of fun stuff, including new and used books, bookmarks, stickers, Why Choose merch, and other things. And of course, if you bring in your BINGO card with a clear BINGO, you get a prize! (While supplies last.)
The 4th & 4th Foundation is at the top of the business district, but it’s still a busy day on the Avenue. There isn’t a dedicated lot, but there are plenty of other places to park. Keep an eye out if you’re parking on side streets; some of them are 24-hour residential parking only. Street parking is free on Sundays, even at meters, but if you decide you’d rather not deal with it and want to park in a lot, make sure to read the signs—some places might be tow-happy!
If you’d like to come early and have lunch, there are plenty of spots in the Fourth Avenue area as well as Downtown or at Main Gate Square, which are both a quick streetcar ride away. There are lots of options, no matter what you might be in the mood for. Nathan’s just opened a couple doors down from 4th & 4th, and the 1989 Bakehouse took over the spot where Epic Cafe used to be, so you don’t even have to go very far.
