Hello, friends!

Happy New Year! We’re two days into January and I am still buzzing about our Winter Break Pop-Up last weekend! Thank you for joining us and bringing such a wonderful energy to the 4th & 4th Foundation space.

We had such a great time!

If you’re interested, here are some fun notes:

The first book we sold was Losing Sight by Tati Richardson. It’s a contemporary romance with a little bit of magic, in which a sports reporter who’s getting “older” needs glasses, and the pair she gets from the handsome optometrist a friend recommends allows her to see people’s auras. It’s a great read, and if you want to get your own copy before our February Black Joy pop-up (Date TBD), you can grab the print or ebook from bookshop.org or the audio from libro.fm!

Surprising no one, our best-selling title was Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid. We only had four copies and they went very quickly. We’ll definitely keep stocking those, and there will be plenty at our March Opening Day Sports Pop-Up!

If you haven’t read it, we definitely recommend starting with Game Changer, the first in the series (you know you want to get into the minds of Scott and Kip!). And while some people might think that just reading Heated Rivalry and The Long Game is satisfactory, the whole series slaps! You can grab all of them at libro.fm and bookshop.org!

I can’t help but express my gratitude to Ursula, Jess, Lisa May, Lauren, and Tiara for helping with preparation, set-up, recommendations, people management, and tons of other administrative stuff that would be boring to discuss. If you see them at our upcoming events, show them love! And of course, once again, thanks so much to all of you for showing up and showing out for our first event, and hopefully liking it enough to come back again!

If you want to know more about what else we’ve got going on regularly, wander around our website and of course, follow us on social media! We don’t have e-commerce set up just yet to sell through the site, but keep an eye out for that in the coming months!
